Celebrate the Holiday Season With Friends and Neighbors

   Date:  Saturday, December 6, 2025  

   Time:  5:30pm – 8:00pm 

   Location: Wellington Auditorium (New Location) Underground parking & handicap accessible

   Cost: $25.00 per person

   Appetizers, sandwiches, wine & beer, and desserts will be provided.

    We will have the basket raffle again this year. $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00; 12 for $10.00; or an arms length for $20.00. If anyone is interested in either making a basket or providing items a basket, please contact Diane Sandvik.

Jefferson AND Hershey’s Mill Information/Notifications 

NEW RESIDENTS: A member of the village Welcoming Committee will contact new residents shortly upon moving in. They will deliver the Jefferson Village Community Handbook and answer any initial questions.
  • Jefferson Village Community Handbook – important information about community guidelines and HOA regulations.
  • Jefferson Village Community Portal (PENCO) – enables residents to log in and view/update your homeowner information, view account information, compliance violations, maintenance issues, association documents and
    village directory. Contact Steve Erney at PENCO for any questions.

  • PENCO emails – all residents will receive emails that provide important village updates and notifications.

Hershey’s Mill Community Updates:

  • HM NEWS Email – the most timely and important source of updated Hershey’s Mill information.  Email the HM Tech Committee at

    Ask to subscribe and include the following information for each resident:
    • Name of the person you purchased the home from or are renting from or who last occupied the home
    • Your email address
    • Your full name
    • HM address
    • Landline phone number (whether used or not)

  • HM Guide and Digest – print copy is mailed monthly. Includes activities, articles and HM news items. Also available on HM website.
  • HM Website  – links to HM news and activities
  • The HM Resident Directory – mailed annually to each home address. New residents may pick up a copy at the HMCTV and Guide Office. Additional copies are available for purchase at the HMCTV Office.

Council

  • Meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month, executive session(s).
  • See the handbook for the list of council members, the coverage map, election information and meeting information. Council meeting minutes and other village documents can be found on the Jefferson Village Community Portal.

Driving and Parking/ SAFETY FIRST!

  • Jefferson Village speed limit is 15 mph!  STOP signs require a full stop. Please advise your guests.
  • Space in an assigned garage MUST be used for an automobile before outside parking is used.
  • No vehicle, whether belonging to residents or visitors, shall be parked to impede or prevent ready access to and from walkways, other vehicles, mailboxes, or parking spaces.
  • Vehicles shall not be mechanically serviced (except for emergencies), washed or polished on Village land. Arrangements may be made with the Wood Shop for washing vehicles.
  • No inoperable, unlicensed, or unregistered vehicle shall be parked within Jefferson Village.
  • Visitors may use any open parking spaces.

Garages

  • Space in an assigned garage MUST be used for an automobile before outside parking is used.
  • Garage doors must be closed when not in use.

Landscaping

DiStefano’s Landscape Services provide village landscaping services, including but not limited to grass cutting, weed control, ground level bush, plant and tree maintenance, spring/fall cleanup and mulching.
  • Residents are reminded that changes to landscaping require council approval. See Landscaping Policy.
  • Forms are available in the Village Handbook. 

Sports

  • Check the SKEDDA schedule to view court and room availability.

Trash and Recycling  

  • Blosenski is the village waste management service
    • Trash pickup days  – Tuesday and Friday mornings
    • Recycling weekly  –   Wednesdays

Yellow Dot Program

a voluntary Medical Emergency Preparation initiative, endorsed by HM Security

helps HM residents organize their important personal health information 

make that information available in a consistent way to EMS in the event of a medical emergency at home and away from home.
